{11} Jewelry contest - Amulet: Freedom of Mind

Hi! Today I would like to show you my contest entry for the topic 'Amulet', organised by Wytwórnia Antidotum.

This is my very first work for a jewelry contest - made together with Woytek Rygało. Made of sterling silver, resin, butterfly wing and feather. Made of sterling silver, resin, butterfly wing and feather.

'Freedom of Mind'

We live in a world full of orders, schemes and lies. Sometimes it is us who fall prey to deceits, rutine, hopelessness, workaholism, we wear blinkers and trust commercials. What else can save us from the evil, if not the free mind, ready for a flight into the unknown? The primeval amulets were using the elements of nature to protect people - here, they are symbolic: the feather means lightness and openness; the butterfly wing images inspiration and fantasy. Turn the silver orb, spread your wings, fly!

In the making process no animal has been harmed.

{10} Some spoilers

Hi there!

I'm wondering, why nobody comments my blog and new dA works.
Only the first photo was "wow, it's so epic" and now, all the "fame" is gone... Barely few persons even went to see it on Etsy shop.

I'm a little bit upset because of this. You know... No comments, no fun.
But, hey, if you were able to stop for a moment and write something, why not do this in a further way...?

I mean: ok, business and selling is one, but meeting new people, get to know, what they think - is more important. It is inspiring, it makes you improve your skills, think in a different way, experiment with new techniques.

So, please, don't leave me. Just talk, ask if you want to know something (and maybe haggle with me, hahah).

And here some spoilers for you ;) (maybe you'll be interested, why I need these flowers):

Btw I make a sale for this week - 5$ off on Hobbit Hole ring (click)

{8} I'm almost there!

Hi there! Just realized this song is really great and motivating, especially, when you're going to run your own little business.
And I'm still feeling sentimental about Disney's films.

I've seen you are asking about the opening date of my etsy shop.
The only thing I can tell you now: I'm waiting till my new USD debit card will come to my mailbox (you know that PayPal's exchange rate isn't nice, right? And this is why I'd like to avoid making payments in my currency). It should take just a few days, so keep your fingers crossed!

After I sell my finished rings, I will make a lists with all your orders (to know, how many supplies should I buy). Stay tuned :)!

{7} Sherlocked bag

Hi there!

Today I've got for you a few pics of my new item - bag with quote from Sherlock Holmes - made for my school friend. Do you like it?

Phew, making big inscriptions in good quality without a stencil is "a bit" tiring... I hope I will not be obliged to do this again. Good thing is I still have the crown stencil I have made.
See you!

{6} Best shops #2

Hello there, today I want to present to you a very nice shop I've found lastly. It's called xiaolizi [link here] and it offers plenty of very good clothes, mainly dresses, skirts and coats. One of greatest advantages of these items are used material: linen, wool & chiffon.

Here I picked up some of my favorites:

#1: I really like this one. It is simple, but also very creative, mostly because of the shape. I also like the dark denim color.

#2: Maybe it looks a bit funny (remember Matrix?), but it's still epic. Very long, very black, very woollen. Perfect mix for fall or winter.

#3: Maybe more in style of my lil' sis, but still very cute. I like mixing materials, the lace is also very welcome. Good for long walks by the seaside... Oh, holidays, please, come quickly!

#4: Not really in my style, but very close to my heart: who remembers The Hunchback of Notre Dame can know, what I'm talking about. The story of Esme is still on my mind and all the songs in my ears... And this year I also visited THIS cathedral, saw these places... Oh dudes, what the _ am I writing about... Let me finish this.

So, if you are interested - why don't have a look?

Bye, and have a nice day!

{5} Finally in Bag End!

"In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.
It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel..."

 Hi,
Finally, I can show you my "little piece of art" - The Hobbit Hole - under a tiny glass globe. Let's begin an unexpected journey!

I made it of Super Sculpey, baked and painted (using acrylics and... a lot of my patience, lol).

Hope you like it, guys, I think I will be able to open my etsy shop in a few days - and then you'll get the chance to get it. See you soon :)!

PS Now you can also advertise me by adding my button to your side ;)

{3} Valentine's Day is coming

Hi. Today I just want to feature in my post some jewellery pieces I have found on etsy. I really like them! So let's go and dig something out!

{These are NOT MY WORKS, I only show them here to describe my point of view and eventually help you to find something interesting for Valentine's Day}

#1: Name on Rice

Old idea, but still it is sweet to me. Maybe not the fact there's someone's name on rice, but that the whole thing is always a tiny precious, composed with small objects, closed in a little entirety.

#2: Hearted jelly

It isn't the original name for this, but it really reminds me of a jelly with hearts inside! I'm a bit obsessed with resin, bottles and glass, forgive me.
Just take a look how awesome it is...

#3: Soft as a plushie

How could anyone resist something so cuddly like this? Can it be a modern version of a-little-bit-helping plushie for an busy, homesick person?

Shop: Trootoys

#4: A bowl of love

I'm not really keen on ceramics, but this piece is just unique! I can say... Hm, I think it reminds me of a water lilly in the middle of a silent pond... Emerald-looking glass, little heart and ceramic bowl, "sticked" together by hand (and possibly with love to make art) - perfectly united.

#5: Heart fruit

So simple, so beautiful. There's nothing else I can say.
Do you know this weird, orange, fast empty fruit? I have forgotten the name for it... They look similar to each other, don't you think?

Shop: BlackStar

Part 2 soon!

To my mind, the most beautiful are #4 & #5.

And what is your opinion?

{2} Secret photos, mwahaha

Hi, here I'll give you just some sssecret photos...

Have you got any ideas, what will I do with these little things...?

PS: Can you find pierogi?

{1} Hi there!

Hello everyone!

Let me introduce myself a little bit.
I am...
First, I am a human.
Then, I am Cat (name, not animal... but maybe in part I am a cat?).
Nick: Flocature.
I am happy. I have somebody to live for. I guess these two interrelate ;).
I like drawing, crafting (especially jewellery), writing poems, scaring people
& listening to music, mostly metal.

I like to make others happier - by good words, a little gift, a smile.

That's me.

Well, well,. well... After a long time without writing any blog, I have returned. You may ask: why?
Because I still want to learn, I want to meet new people and talk with them, I want to show you the things I make and I hope you will like them. But it is not a blog just about crafting. Maybe I will tell you some important thoughts, parts of my philosophy, little seeds of thinking.  Or just give a photo of my outfit or an artwork and try to inspire you. Maybe I will also add some tutorials, who knows, possibly yes, maybe not...

Anyway, soon I'm going to set up my own little shop on etsy.
Prepare yourself. Jewellery is coming!
